About us
On days when you have less time yourself, you obviously want your dog to get plenty of attention and exercise. On these days, The Dogfather is here for you! Fun, safety and hygiene are our top priorities. We make sure that your dog has a great time on our walks. The Dogfather goes to areas around Amsterdam twice a day, where the dogs have all the space they need to run and play. We try to keep our pick-up area as small as possible so the dogs are not on the bus for too long.

Meet Mike, The Dogfather
I have a big heart for animals! I have always loved dogs, which of course is not surprising when you come from a family with dogs. I enjoy taking long walks with my own two dogs. Several years ago, I started walking friends’, family’s and neighbors’ dogs. I enjoyed doing this so much that I have now started my own business to take more dogs on beautiful walks.
Our Services
Morning walk
For the morning walk, we will pick up your dog from your home between 9:00 and 9:45. After a walk of at least 75 minutes, we will return your dog home dry and as clean as possible. You can expect your dog back between 11:45 and 12:15.
Afternoon walk
For the afternoon walk, we will pick up your dog from your home between 1:00 and 1:45 pm. After a walk of at least 75 minutes, we will return your dog home dry and as clean as possible. You can expect your dog back between 3:45 and 4:15 pm.
Weekend Walk
On Saturdays and Sundays, we currently only do morning walks!

Method
Introduction
Before your dog can join the pack, we first visit to get to know you and your dog. We will discuss several important points during the intake interview. Then we schedule a trial walk. Based on your wishes, we will agree on a day and time when we will pick up your dog.
Walks
We walk at least 75 minutes in the outdoor areas of Amsterdam, where the dogs have all the space they need to run and play. In warm weather, we will seek out the water. We work with small packs (maximum of 8 dogs). This way, there will be enough overview and your dog will get enough attention.
The Bus
Our collection area is Amsterdam-Zuid and surrounding areas. Because safety is our top priority, we pick up your dog with a professionally equipped van. The bus has an advanced ventilation system and is VLD certified. A fire extinguisher and a dog first aid kit are also provided. In addition, we consider hygiene very important, for this reason the van will be cleaned daily and your dog will always have a clean basket and towel during transport.
Penning & Tracking
For added security during our walks, we provide your dog with a badge with our information. In addition, each dog will have an Apple AirTag on the collar, this way we will know where your dog is at all times.
The Catmother
Are you away from home for a period of time and looking for a reliable person to care for your cat? Then The Catmother is here for you!
If you are not present yourself, we will make sure your cat gets all the love and attention he or she needs. During the 30-minute visit, we will provide food, fresh drinking water, a clean litter box and any medication. We will also play and cuddle with your cat, if there is a need for this.
Rates
Dog walks
10-ride card individual walks: € 199.00
The Dogfather uses the following standard rates:
1x per week: € 25,00 per walk
2x per week: € 24.00 per walk
3x per week: € 23,00 per walk
4x per week: € 22,00 per walk
5x per week: € 21.00 per walk
Do you have several dogs going with you? Then you will receive a 10% discount.
Cat Care
The Catmother charges a standard rate of €12.50 per 30-minute visit. If you have multiple cats at the same address, we charge a surcharge of €2.50 per cat per visit.
